Good Cheap Spooky Season Switch Games

These Nintendo Switch games are great for spooky season, but still cheap, so you can spend the money you save on full-sized candy bars for trick-or-treaters. Be that house.

I know Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on the Switch has its problems, but it's still a decent Castlevania substitute.

If you like suspenseful, horror-ey shooters - or just compilation-type games, in my case - you probably know about the Switch's cheap Resident Evil and Bioshock Collections.

Friday the 13th and Ghostbusters are solid enough to try even if you don't care for the properties.

If you don't want to spend the extra money on Diablo 3 or Blasphemous, the Darksiders series is okay scary-apocalypse themed hack-and-slashing usually found right next to the bargain bin.

Surprisingly another THQ Nordic pick, Stubbs The Zombie is an action game that lets you human brains in what feels like an alternate-future version of a classic monster movie.

Segue, if you like playing as the monster, the fairly cheap basic version of Carrion lets you murder your way around the scary science-ey facility from whence you were captured.

Ahhh, digital games, the horror!
