BEST Devolver Digital Switch Games | Rating EVERY Nintendo Switch Game by Collectability part 29

I got a request for a specific Devolver Digital title (Thanks, by the way!), but like freshly-baked cookies you can't stop at just one. This stellar indie-game publisher basically always puts out good, cheap, unique stuff. So here are my top 3 collectable Devolver Digital Switch games. Garbage disclaimer about personal opinions and physical US Switch releases current June 2023, etc.

Gris

First, I've already covered Gris, but just know it's an aesthetically alluring platformer and my favorite Devolver Digital Switch game. A-, 5 stars.

Death's Door

Collectable: ★★★★★ | A-

Second, I had Game Pass for a hot minute once and liked Death's Door so much I got it on Switch just to support it. It's a great isometric action-adventure headlined by a fascinating narrative. A-, 5 stars.

Hotline Miami Collection

Collectable: ★★★★☆ | B+

There's both a tiny drop-off and a logjam at third place, but I'm going with the Hotline Miami Collection, the original viewer suggestion. It's very cheap, unique for its time, and I love good compilations! My one qualm is I find these two top down run-and-guns very hard. B, 4 stars.

I'll do another Devolver Digital at some point. I've got several more both here and on my wishlist worth recommending. And I'll always recommend you, you're fantastic.
