Like homemade vanilla ice cream, the Sega double packs are a good idea in theory that disappoint a little in practice. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD is nice to have on Switch but remains a slightly disappointing remake, and Sonic Forces is a barely-mediocre 3D platformer. Team Sonic Racing is an adequate kart racer in a crowded market, and it's lifted by a great 2D platformer in Sonic Mania but you should play the separate, even-better Sonic Mania Plus version anyway. Even if questionable, nostalgia is a powerful drug and you know I'm a sucker for cheap compilations.
